Youth Ministry

Why?

Everything we do comes out of our love and relationship with God. Because of God we are drawn to learn his word, to apply it to our lives, and to fellowship with one another.

In our group you will encounter a very real God, real people attempting to live out their faith and invite others to do the same, and a real life that deals with the difficult questions of life.

Our group is active and passionate about Christ and having fun. Youth begins at 6th grade and continues through the end of high school. If you are looking for a place to worship, fellowship, and draw close to a redeeming Savior – or if you just need to make some friends – we welcome you to any of our events.

What?

Koinonia – This is youth group at its best. We meet each Sunday night for dinner and then for our meeting time. In this time we study scripture and talk about life issues, not so much to find answers but to ask questions that deepen our faith. This time is a mix of worship, discussion, fellowship, and activities.

Worship – Though worship is a larger function of the church, it is critical to being part of the youth group. This is our time to worship God along with all believers. Youth take part in worship through reading of scripture, music, and other special opportunities.

Sunday School – Before worship each Sunday morning, we meet in the Youth Space for Sunday School. This group seeks to explore Holy Scripture and expand knowledge for God and what a relationship with God means in daily life.
