However, several things need to happen in\nthe next month to make that possible, and we need YOU to be a part of it. One of the things that will be most helpful to our search committee is a clear\npicture of the kind of pastor we are looking for and the kind of church we are. Be thinking about how you would share the mission of First Baptist with\nsomeone who knew nothing about us. But more importantly, be thinking about what qualities you value most in a Senior Pastor. Would you like her to\nbe focused mostly on pastoral care? Do you want him to be passionate and animated in the pulpit and focus on teaching?\nYou will have an opportunity to share your perspective at our Mission Engagement Workshop with consultant David Brown on Saturday,\nSept. 27 from 9 a.m. through 12 noon, with a light lunch afterward.\n
