Mission Engagement Workshop

Transition Team’s Engagement Workshop set for 9/27
The Transition Team is starting to wrap up its work, and is looking toward nominating our search committee. However, several things need to happen in
the next month to make that possible, and we need YOU to be a part of it. One of the things that will be most helpful to our search committee is a clear
picture of the kind of pastor we are looking for and the kind of church we are. Be thinking about how you would share the mission of First Baptist with
someone who knew nothing about us. But more importantly, be thinking about what qualities you value most in a Senior Pastor. Would you like her to
be focused mostly on pastoral care? Do you want him to be passionate and animated in the pulpit and focus on teaching?

You will have an opportunity to share your perspective at our Mission Engagement Workshop with consultant David Brown on Saturday,
Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. through 12 noon, with a light lunch afterward.
