Commissioning of the 2016 Belize Mission Team

Sunday at 11 a.m. during the Sunday Morning Worship Service will be the commissioning of the 2016 Belize Mission Team. Since 2005 our church has been making mission trips to Belize in order to show Christ’s love to the people there. Three teams are involved. The medical team will have daily clinics in villages around Belmopan, Belize, giving medical care to people who don’t have easy access to doctors and medicine. The agricultural team will be establishing a livestock program at a high school seeking to improve the quality of life for families. The construction team will build a barn at the school, giving much needed shelter for animals during the severe storms that can occur.

The 28 members of the team will be leaving February 20th and returning February 28th. Please pray for this group of Christ followers from First Baptist and several other churches in our community. Prayer has always been the foundation for FBC mission trips to Belize.
